Nighttime Routine

Every night before bed I drink a cup of warm chamomile tea. Not only do I love the pleasant taste, it’s also comforting and relaxing. While growing up my mother would always rave about the health benefits of chamomile. She would brew chamomile flowers and drink the tea every night. My mother knew a thing or two about chamomile since she’s now almost 60 and doesn’t look a day over 50. I’m a light sleeper and occasionally I clench my jaw at nights. About a year ago I was talking to my mother and she reminded me about chamomile.  I took her advise and started the routine of drinking the tea before bedtime. I honestly don’t know why it never crossed my mind before. I’ve found that drinking chamomile tea each night helps me sleep soundly and peacefully. I wake up feeling rested and calm.

Chamomile is known to relax nerves, relieve tension, help with cramps, boost the immune system, help with skin problems and the list goes on.  If you have restless or sleepless nights, drinking chamomile tea may help ease your tension and help you sleep better.
