Breakfast On The Go- Yogurt Parfait

We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet most of us skip it. We usually have really busy schedules and hectic work weeks. Leaving early for work or school can make us neglect the most important meal of the day. Breakfast is vital for our bodies because it provides the fuel to keep us going throughout the day and it helps to maintain a healthy body weight.
This grab and go breakfast is delicious and can be made the night before. How fantastic is this mason jar with a handle? It’s perfect for those of us who are always on the run!

Here’ s how we prepared it.

imageMix together 1 cup of yogurt with 1 teaspoon of honey.

imageBlueberries, raspberries and granola.

(You can add your favorite fruits, berries or your favorite type of granola)

imageToasted sliced almonds and chia seeds

imageLayer the ingredients. Yogurt, berries, granola, sliced almonds and chia seeds. Keep layering until you’ve reached the top. Place the yogurt parfait in the refrigerator and grab it in the morning before you head out. Tastes delicious!
